Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread success in the early 21st century. Swift was a fan of the arts at a very young stage and progressed swiftly from roles in children's theatre and her first public appearance in front of a crowd of thousands. In 2011, Swift, then 11, sang The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. In the year following, Swift began writing her own music. Swift wrote original songs that was inspired by country performers like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks), and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens alienation. Swift's parents moved her from Pennsylvania to Tennessee at the age of thirteen after they sold their Pennsylvania farm. The move allowed Swift to devote more time trying to find labels that would promote country music in Nashville.
